Gary has a diverse professional background in the funeral service and pre-planning industry. His profession began with funeral apprenticeships, soon after he obtained his Funeral Directors license, and later became a pre-need service counselor.

 

Szewczyk also has a broad professional background outside of the funeral industry, involving roles with sales and owning a business.  

 

Since 2003, Gary has served as a pre-need funeral counselor for various independent funeral homes in Connecticut. He emphasizes increasing name recognition within the community, growing market share, and driving pre-need sales.

Gary currently lives in Middletown, CT with his family. He enjoys golfing, skiing, and vacationing at his Block Island residence in his free time. Szewczyk also has a passion for volunteering, and fund raising (Children's Hospital Hartford, Hospital Special Care).

 

Gary is a graduate of the New England Institute of applied Arts & Sciences.
